Wedding Photography
Exactly the right moments captured forever is how I approach my wedding photography. With the day passing in a blur these are the images you’ll look back on and share with family and friends forever.
Anyone can take pictures but the difference I bring is that of an experienced female photographer focused on the people, situations and settings that make the day so memorable.
While your guests enjoy the event I will look for the magic. I watch for those unique moments and unobtrusively record the wedding party enjoying the emotion of the day.
Every wedding is different. There is no formula for capturing the true spirit of each one. It is unique, personal and yours and I will cover it all perfectly with a contemporary mix of reportage informal shots, classic group shots and imaginative relaxed photographs of you and your partner.
What is included:
Time for you to relax
I may have worked in your chosen venue but you will not have been married there before so we meet at the ceremony and reception locations for an informal walk through. You know where I will be during the ceremony and if I am permitted to take photographs (there are sometimes restrictions by the venue). Then we can discuss what area's are available for photographs before we move on to the reception. Sometimes register offices are not the most attractive venues for photographs, do not worry, an alternative photo location close by can be researched if necessary.
Choice
There are numerous albums available and I believe you should have a full choice without being overwhelmed.
Brand names you might recognise include: Queensbury, GF Smith, Loxley in a range of styles from coffee table books, panoramic albums and artbooks.
Each come in a range of sizes with parents album options with a choice of cover finishes.
Additionally there is a choice of beautiful framed prints, thank you cards and multi-print options. Something for everyone.
Reassurance
You can be confident that I will be calm, on time and respectful of you and your guests while I record the story of the day. Instead of a rush to get the pictures to you I process each digital photograph with the latest software to create beautiful enhanced images.
Your on-line gallery will be live within 10 days which is password protected. Your wedding is a private moment and we respect that.
Value
You have probably realised that trying to compare wedding photographer prices is akin to “pin the tail on the donkey.” I believe the prices should be transparent and honest so my approach is very different to others you might look at.

B - What extra's would you like?
Perhaps you would like a pre-wedding photoshoot to get used to being photographed before the big day. This is usually on location somewhere to be more relaxed and fun. Have you got a pet? Then lets include them too. P&B Images, well its Pets and Brides of course.
Some brides like to have coverage of their preparations and you, and your partner, can be comfortable with a female photographer at this very private moment.
Lets not forget the groom with his groomsmen preparing for his bride to arrive. He might be at the bar, on the golf course or just pacing about, nervously. Always a source of unique photographs.
If I use a second camera person we synchronise the camera's to show you who was doing what at the same time. This always provokes an amusing reaction at the viewing between the couple.
Many photographers are keen to get to the mock cutting of the cake then beat a hasty retreat as the wedding breakfast begins. I am happy to stay and photograph the speeches and on to the first dance if that is what you want.
C - Albums and products
You can choose an album when you book the photography or you can wait and choose at the post wedding viewing. Obviously you will see samples and prices in advance to help you make a decision. You can even change your mind and pick another style if you want more images than you originally intended and it makes sense to present them in a different way. It is not unusual for couples to choose 150+ images.
This is an unique event so we wont hold anything back. You will see approximately 100 images on the online gallery to show friends and family but your private viewing to choose the album shots will be 300-500 images, depending on the length of coverage you choose.
There are other options you might want to include such as parents albums, framed prints, thank you cards and digitial albums and of course a CD of copyright released images. A CD slideshow of the online gallery is always included with our photography and additional copies are available for parents and bridesmaids.
